Help managers take action with insights, conversation and collaboration. Managers are key to improving an organization's people success and engagement. Managers who listen and respond to the needs of their team can see increases in their engagement scores in just one quarter. Glint offers managers a wealth of data about their teams’ needs. We’ve heard from some of our customers that managers take action less often than they would like because they often don’t know how to turn the data insights into next steps. That, on top of discomfort with engagement conversations and the lack of time can mean managers fail to take action. The upcoming Manager Empowerment bundle builds on our previous features to bring together an end to end, guided manager experience. The bundle consists of an enhanced manager dashboard, Team Summary, the new Team Conversations and Nudges, now in Microsoft Teams. We are especially excited to introduce Team Conversations, which brings into Glint the ACT Conversation

Call to actionIf your organization primarily uses the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, work with your IT team to offer employees a supported browser before September 25, 2021. Phased approachJune 26 – Support for Internet Explorer endingAs communicated since February 2021, Glint is ending support for IE as of June 26. Why? Glint applications are accessible using the current versions of most browsers. When browsers are no longer current or supported by their creators, it opens the door to security and technical issues. Now that Microsoft is ending support of Internet Explorer 11, Glint is also discontinuing support for this browser. Consequently, if an issue arises that is specific to IE, Glint will be unable to fix it. September 25 – Access to Glint prohibited for Internet Explorer users90 days after Glint ends testing and support for IE, it will restrict access altogether for individuals using this browser. Why? As IE becomes further out of date, the risk of major glitches and poor

Ensuring confidentiality is critical to helping employees be honest and open in their survey responses. With accurate data, companies can take more appropriate action on results and improve their business.Glint recently introduced two improvements to the way we handle suppression (to protect confidentiality) within our platform: using response count and providing exceptions based on parent size. The Community page here goes into detail (with examples) about each of these. We encourage you to start using response count everywhere instead of head count when determining suppression. Since this will change the groups managers (and admins) are able to see within the platform (including prior surveys), it will be important to prepare your team for the change. Contact Support@Glintinc.com or your CSM on or before 5 February 2022 to make this change. That is the date on which Glint will turn it on for everyone.Additionally, we have a bypass when the “parent group” is at least 400 or more respo

The feature’s purpose is to pull insights from both engagement and performance programs. Regardless of what performance management solution(s) you use today, our team is interested in hearing about what data and insight connections your organization wants to make between engagement and performance programs (or just between engagement programs). We are interested in speaking with stakeholders for both engagement and performance programs. Please reply to this post if you and/or a colleague would be interested in sharing your thoughts on this topic, and our product team will work with you to coordinate a time; the discussion will take approximately one hour. Thanks, as always, for helping us develop better and better products!

Glint customers are a special type of company — they go above and beyond to help their people be happier and more successful at work. They’re committed to creating environments where their people love their jobs. This ethos led us to create our new campaign, “Go ahead. Love your job.” This campaign celebrates our customers and all you do to create work environments filled with purpose, balance, and, often, even joy. This campaign is also the beginning of a conversation. The more we share stories of the steps we’re taking to improve our employees’ experiences, and, thusly, our business results, the better we can all become. We’ve asked a few of your fellow Glint customers to tell us first — discover below how Sky creates an inclusive workforce. Then, tell us in the comments what you and your team are doing to create environments where people love their jobs. We can’t wait to hear your story._________Practicing Active Inclusion at SkyAuthored by Catherine Garrod, People Involvement Manager
Hello everyone! Glint is exploring several feature concepts for Employee Experiences, and we’d like to get your reaction to them. Your honest feedback helps us think about directions for future features, so both positive and negative comments are very helpful. Please note that these are early concept explorations that may or may not, wholly or in part, result in future Glint features. Click here to access the Google Forms survey with the concept descriptions and questions. We estimate the survey takes approx. 15-20min, but duration will depend on the level of time spent considering the concepts and the amount of feedback given. We’d appreciate completion of the survey by Friday, June 11th.If there are any questions, please post them here, or email LaShaun Bellamy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Clayton Holz (email@example.com). Thank you so much for your participation!
Our marketing team is exploring the needs of individual contributors. By deepening our understanding of what these employees need to engage at work, we will be better positioned to develop relevant product features. We would like to schedule 60-minute video calls with a handful of individual contributors at organizations that use Glint over the next 3-4 weeks. During the call, topics such as what makes individual contributors feel happy and successful at work, how they view their role in their own and team’s engagement, and what development means to them will be discussed. As a token of our appreciation, we will be providing the individual contributor a $75 gift card or donation for their time.If you think some of the members at your organization would be willing to work with us, please let us know by contacting LaShaun Bellamy at firstname.lastname@example.org.

It would entail a one-hour conversation in the next few weeks. We’d also like to ensure we build a platform that will help managers and employees, so we’re seeking feedback from end-users as well.
