Hello! This is Clayton from the Product team. Our product and design team is hard at work at improving our default manager dashboard. After many conversations with managers over the last few months, we believe there’s a strong opportunity to better serve your managers with a dashboard experience that is:Simpler and more narrative Guided, with more coaching from our People Science team Makes clear exactly where I am in the process and what I should be doing nextAfter many design iterations and demos to managers, we feel great about the direction we’re headed in, and we’d like to share what we’re working on with a few more admins. Help managers take action with insights, conversation and collaboration. Managers are key to improving an organization's people success and engagement. Managers who listen and respond to the needs of their team can see increases in their engagement scores in just one quarter. Glint offers managers a wealth of data about their teams’ needs. We’ve heard from some of our customers that managers take action less often than they would like because they often don’t know how to turn the data insights into next steps. That, on top of discomfort with engagement conversations and the lack of time can mean managers fail to take action.The upcoming Manager Empowerment bundle builds on our previous features to bring together an end to end, guided manager experience. The bundle consists of an enhanced manager dashboard, Team Summary, the new Team Conversations and Nudges, now in Microsoft Teams. It’s almost World Mental Health day during a year in which our mental health and wellbeing are strained like never before. Hi Glint users! Glint’s product team is developing new Engage features and is seeking user feedback to shape what we build. Employee Well-Being Report, Sept 2021 - Learnings on Flexibility, Talent Mobility, and Candidate Expectations
Hi everyone! I’m Eric, the Head of People Science Intelligence at Glint. It’s wonderful to join the discussion in this vibrant community! In case you haven’t heard, last month we released a new Employee Well-Being Report that shared findings from our latest Glint research related to work flexibility, talent mobility, and the contrast between candidate expectations and employee realities. I feel particularly passionately about the talent mobility problem, as I believe organizations’ abilities to facilitate mobility will be essential to their retention of employees moving forward. Ensuring confidentiality is critical to helping employees be honest and open in their survey responses. With accurate data, companies can take more appropriate action on results and improve their business.Glint recently introduced two improvements to the way we handle suppression (to protect confidentiality) within our platform: using response count and providing exceptions based on parent size. The Community page here goes into detail (with examples) about each of these. We encourage you to start using response count everywhere instead of head count when determining suppression. Since this will change the groups managers (and admins) are able to see within the platform (including prior surveys), it will be important to prepare your team for the change. Contact Support@Glintinc.com or your CSM on or before 5 February 2022 to make this change. Microsoft and LinkedIn are committed to protecting your data with strict access controls. To ensure that access to your data remains highly secured, we are implementing a mandatory Microsoft security update which may slightly change the way that you access your Glint secure SharePoint site(s). Beginning immediately, we will start a phased rollout requirement where you must use Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to sign in to your Glint secure SharePoint sites. The rollout begins now and will be completed by mid-January. If you are already using an Office 365 application that requires MFA, you won’t see any change. However, if you are not yet using MFA, complete the following steps to initially register and sign in:Go to your shared Glint - SharePoint site. Enter your email address, then select Sign-in options.Note: Depending on your email provider, you may be asked to grant permissions to let Microsoft populate your info for future sign-ins. Call to actionIf your organization primarily uses the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, work with your IT team to offer employees a supported browser before September 25, 2021. Phased approachJune 26 – Support for Internet Explorer endingAs communicated since February 2021, Glint is ending support for IE as of June 26. Why? Glint applications are accessible using the current versions of most browsers. When browsers are no longer current or supported by their creators, it opens the door to security and technical issues. Now that Microsoft is ending support of Internet Explorer 11, Glint is also discontinuing support for this browser. Consequently, if an issue arises that is specific to IE, Glint will be unable to fix it. September 25 – Access to Glint prohibited for Internet Explorer users90 days after Glint ends testing and support for IE, it will restrict access altogether for individuals using this browser. Why? Our marketing team is exploring the needs of individual contributors. By deepening our understanding of what these employees need to engage at work, we will be better positioned to develop relevant product features.We would like to schedule 60-minute video calls with a handful of individual contributors at organizations that use Glint over the next 3-4 weeks. During the call, topics such as what makes individual contributors feel happy and successful at work, how they view their role in their own and team’s engagement, and what development means to them will be discussed. Hello everyone! Glint is exploring several feature concepts for Employee Experiences, and we’d like to get your reaction to them. Your honest feedback helps us think about directions for future features, so both positive and negative comments are very helpful. Please note that these are early concept explorations that may or may not, wholly or in part, result in future Glint features. Hi Community! Glint's product team is researching and designing a feature called Cross Product Reporting Dashboard. The feature’s purpose is to pull insights from both engagement and performance programs. Regardless of what performance management solution(s) you use today, our team is interested in hearing about what data and insight connections your organization wants to make between engagement and performance programs (or just between engagement programs). We are interested in speaking with stakeholders for both engagement and performance programs.
