Call to action

If your organization primarily uses the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, work with your IT team to offer employees a supported browser before September 25, 2021.

Phased approach

June 26 – Support for Internet Explorer ending

As communicated since February 2021, Glint is ending support for IE as of June 26.

Why? Glint applications are accessible using the current versions of most browsers. When browsers are no longer current or supported by their creators, it opens the door to security and technical issues. Now that Microsoft is ending support of Internet Explorer 11, Glint is also discontinuing support for this browser. Consequently, if an issue arises that is specific to IE, Glint will be unable to fix it.

September 25 – Access to Glint prohibited for Internet Explorer users

90 days after Glint ends testing and support for IE, it will restrict access altogether for individuals using this browser.

Why? As IE becomes further out of date, the risk of major glitches and poor user experience increase. To protect our customers against a poor user experience, Glint will restrict access to the platform and surveys entirely for individuals using IE and require them to switch to a supported browser.
