What is Manager Empowerment and why did Glint build it?
Glint’s Manager Empowerment is an end-to-end experience for managers to easily understand their team’s feedback, involve employees in choosing focus areas, and follow through on commitments to improving team engagement. The Management Empowerment bundle includes a new report design specifically for managers called Team Summary, improvements to our Nudges feature, and a new, interactive presentation experience called Team Conversations. Manager Empowerment builds upon previous features, packaging them to present a more comprehensive experience for managers.

Which Glint customers can get the Manager Empowerment features?
Team Summary and Nudges are available to all Glint customers. Team Conversations is exclusively available for People Success Package customers.
When will these features be available for customers to use?
We are targeting an August 28th release date but will keep you posted of any changes as the release date gets closer.
Are the three Manager Empowerment features defaulted to on at launch?
Team Summary and Nudges are opt-in at launch. Customers have the option to enable these features when they choose. Glint Best Practice: We encourage customers to turn on the Management Empowerment features, along with Manager Concierge and Broader Team Insights. They all work synergistically to address some of the common challenges managers face.
At a future date - and with advance notice - we will default Team Summary to on, but customers will have the ability to turn it off if they choose.
Team Conversations will be defaulted on at launch for existing draft and future programs for People Success Package customers. Customers have the option to disable Team Conversations.
Are the new Manager Empowerment features going to be available in all languages?
Yes, these new features will be available in all Glint-supported languages. LinkedIn Learning videos are English only currently.
How can customers customize content?
Content customization is simple, flexible, and can be done on a self-serve basis. Starting in a future release (targeting September 2021), admins will be able to customize content on the manager landing experience dashboard. They can customize the interpretation guide and customize the content around the new strengths and opportunities sections on the Team Summary report.
Will Glint provide video training and / or supporting materials for managers?
Yes, we are working on a manager training video to walk managers through the new experience, so that they can understand what’s changed and how they can utilize new functionalities. Additionally, there will be documents, videos, release notes and other supporting materials to help with understanding and adopting the Manager Empowerment bundle.
My organization doesn’t have the People Success package. What can we do?
