Changing an Employee Number

We have a few employees who had left the company and then come back. That said, when we do a rehire in our HRIS system, they keep the email alias they had but it does not give them the same employee number… it generates a new one.


This is causing issues with uploading users and the manager hierarchy. I had tried my glint version of “turning off and on” - deactivate the employee(s) does not work/ nor does reactivating them.


How do I change/update an employee’s “employee number” in Glint?

@mgaynor It definitely seems that deactivating the employee and then adding the employee as if they were completely new should work. If that does not, please contact so they can help you remedy this situation.
