Team Conversations - FAQs

This FAQ guidance was updated on December 13, 2021.Q: Why did Glint develop Team Conversations? Glint developed the ACT framework to guide teams from reflection to action to help managers have meaningful and effective conversations. The ACT framework starts with the team acknowledging where they are today, continues with collaborating on what they would like to focus on improving, and finishes with a commitment to taking one step to improve.  With Glint’s new Team Conversations feature, managers will access an interactive, pre-populated and tailored presentation that leverages the ACT framework, assisting them to lead a team discussion around where they are, where they want to go, and how they can take one step forward. Is the Team Conversations feature available for all customers? The Team Conversations feature is available for all customers with the People Success Package. Enhancements to suppression coming February 5, 2022

Ensuring confidentiality is critical to helping employees be honest and open in their survey responses. With accurate data, companies can take more appropriate action on results and improve their business.Glint recently introduced two improvements to the way we handle suppression (to protect confidentiality) within our platform: using response count and providing exceptions based on parent size. The Community page here goes into detail (with examples) about each of these. We encourage you to start using response count everywhere instead of head count when determining suppression. Since this will change the groups managers (and admins) are able to see within the platform (including prior surveys), it will be important to prepare your team for the change. Contact Support@Glintinc.com or your CSM on or before 5 February 2022 to make this change. FAQs were updated on February 13, 2023. For Managers: Find a downloadable Manager Quick Guide for Interpreting the Team Summary dashboard experience on this community page. The Manager Quick Guide will download as a zip file as it is available in multiple languages. How are Strengths & Opportunities derived and what is the color coding explanation?Find detailed information here. Q: Is the Team Summary dashboard customizable? Can certain sections be removed or added to the landing dashboard? No, the Team Summary dashboard cannot be customized by admins for a given population. When viewed as a report (via the ‘Reports’ tab), users may add sections or use filters and save them as a personal report, but admins cannot directly customize the report shown to their population.  Q: Are users able to filter the new dashboard view before reviewing results, Strengths & Opportunities, and viewing the interactive presentation?   No, filtering is not currently available for Team Summary. Hello everyone! Glint is exploring several feature concepts for Employee Experiences, and we’d like to get your reaction to them. Your honest feedback helps us think about directions for future features, so both positive and negative comments are very helpful.  Please note that these are early concept explorations that may or may not, wholly or in part, result in future Glint features. Click here to access the Google Forms survey with the concept descriptions and questions. Internet Explorer retirement: Access to Glint prohibited on IE starting in September

Call to actionIf your organization primarily uses the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, work with your IT team to offer employees a supported browser before September 25, 2021.  Phased approachJune 26 – Support for Internet Explorer endingAs communicated since February 2021, Glint is ending support for IE as of June 26. Why? Glint applications are accessible using the current versions of most browsers. When browsers are no longer current or supported by their creators, it opens the door to security and technical issues. Now that Microsoft is ending support of Internet Explorer 11, Glint is also discontinuing support for this browser. Consequently, if an issue arises that is specific to IE, Glint will be unable to fix it. September 25 – Access to Glint prohibited for Internet Explorer users90 days after Glint ends testing and support for IE, it will restrict access altogether for individuals using this browser.   Why? The feature’s purpose is to pull insights from both engagement and performance programs.
