Manager access when new in role or changing teams

Hi, whenever we have managers new to the role or leading a new team, is there any action that needs to be taken by the Admin with regards to their access ? i.e.
for the newly hired manager :
- does the access need to be set up in the platform (or does that happen automatically)
- does this manager have access to his current team’s previous survey results
and for the manager taking the lead for a new team:
- is the tool automatically updating their access or does the Admin need to make the changes?
- do they keep or lose the access to the results of their previous team(s)?

Is there a document or other asset with further info on the above?

Thank you!

Hi @chantal.vandewalle

- does the access need to be set up in the platform (or does that happen automatically).  The way your company is configured, the new manager will need to be added to the manager role, your CSM can help you with that.

- does this manager have access to his current team’s previous survey results
and for the manager taking the lead for a new team:

Glint uses a "data follows the manager" approach. This means that if a manager moves to a different team, their most recent prior survey scores go with them. They continue to see their previous team’s data until the next survey cycle in which their new team’s feedback will display (assuming confidentiality thresholds are met).

- is the tool automatically updating their access or does the Admin need to make the changes? The platform will automatically update access for the managers current team.

- do they keep or lose the access to the results of their previous team(s)? Yes per the above, they never lose access to past teams, which is where you will see trend.

Is there a document or other asset with further info on the above? This set of slides gives a series of examples of how trend follows managers or employees.
